Our Story

Chaos is all around us, and appears in a variety of ways. In San Diego County, the land itself is a chaotic place. Tectonic plates are constantly shifting, lush forests turn into deserts in one direction and beaches in the other, and there are rapidly changing microclimates from one neighborhood to the next. Just as the landscape of San Diego County is constantly shifting from one place to the next, the culture of our community is constantly changing. We need to change with them. We need to find new ways to reflect the Rock of our Salvation, geared toward a new generation and with a renewed sense of unity.

As individuals, we have each experienced a divine calling to share God’s Love in our own unique way. The same is true for every congregation and organization that chooses to partner together for this Common Call. And thus, our logo was birthed from our Common Call vision. Each individual piece represents our unique calling, gifts, and abilities. However, when we come together, we begin to fill in the picture God has in mind for San Diego County and, ultimately, the nation.
